Two Lay-persons Reportedly Set Themsevels Alight In Tibet

The Tibet Post: Two Tibetan lay persons have reportedly set themselves on fire Monday morning at around 11.00 am, August 27, 2012 (Tibet Time) in Ngaba county, north-eastern Tibet (Chinese: Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province).

There were no immediate details of the two self-immolators who have set themselves on flames to protest against Chinese repressive policy in Tibet, Ven Jamyang, a Tibetan monk, who is currently living in Nepal told The Tibet Post International this morning.

A webchat conversation with a Tibetan inside Tibet, a Tibetan man in Nepal, whos wife was one of the two laypersons who self-immolated this morning on the main street of Ngaba county, north-eastern Tibet. "He told people near him that his wife is on the flame in Ngaba county, Tibet right now," Jamyang further added.
